Incomplete

Like most things we have attempted to do with our current home, there have been bumps along the way in the process of updating of our master bedroom. A job that usually is a one day affair in this house, becomes a two to three day extravaganza! Just makes the completed room all that sweeter I guess. I’m going with that, because right now I’m not feeling the excitement of another round of sanding and washing walls.


Wally took a couple of days off and I have to say Thursday was probably one of the best days I’ve had in a long, long time. After awaking at 3am and taking my Mom to the airport for her long-awaited trip to Florida, we had a long, leisurely morning. Relaxed, read the paper, made homemade eggs benedict, and then headed to the city late in the afternoon for some supplies at Home Depot, and then off to meet friends at the Ale House and a Mooseheads hockey game. (How’s that for a run-on sentence?) I’m afraid the beer went down really good for me, and since I had my camera with me I just had to take lots of photos. Sorry guys! Alcohol and a camera are a deadly combination for me.

The remainder of the weekend will see us both with a paint brush in hand. Just think, after this room we are down to 3 bathrooms, 1 hallway and 1 bdrm. left….the end is in my sight! Yes…the end is near…the end is near…the end is near (OK I’m done, just a little self-convincing going on).
