Just received my first $100,000 payment!

Ha! April Fool’s Day! I can only dream. Lame I know, but I couldn’t resist saying something about this day…

I started my online class, Digi: In Deep, yesterday at http://jessicasprague.com/ I am incredibly excited about it and am happy to report so far so good. I plan on finishing the 10 tasks of lesson 1 today, and I can’t wait to see my very first digital scrapbooking page complete! I’ll post it here to share when I’m finished. Check out her site. There are lots of tips and cool finds. This is really new to me and I’m a little intimidated. I kind of feel like a little kid that’s afraid to join in on the fun, but here I am all grown up and learning to come out of my shell.

On a different note, I decided to make a recipe I found at http://thepioneerwoman.com/. This site is probably one of my most favourite of all! The way this woman tells her stories is captivating and usually hilarious. Another website I can’t say enough about. PW recently revamped her site and it now contains all sorts of goodies. One of them was this recipe for “mystery rolls”. I couldn’t resist it since a few weeks back, Wally decided to purchase “Dragon’s Breath” blue cheese at the Farmer’s Market. I couldn’t imagine what I was going to do with this cheese, and then voila, there it was! Of course, it is low fat and low calorie! All recipes from the 70s were weren’t they? Pillsbury Flakey Rolls, Stick of Butter & Blue Cheese. No calories there at all! Really, they are totally yummy. The only problem is that they are addictive! This is all that are left after chowing down BEFORE supper last night.

Well, now I’m off to continue with my online class for a bit and then take my car in for a tuneup. Some laundry is bound to get done today – really it will! OK, I have to admit when I hear Wally rummaging around the closet at 6am trying to find something to wear I do feel a little guilty. But, I guess not guilty enough. Smelly socks aside, he does change into a uniform when he gets to work…
