TODAY. I dropped Wally off for another jaunt at sea. Hopefully this wee trip will go as planned. In retrospect, the little mishap of the schedule worked out in my favour because we got to celebrate my birthday last evening. Close enough for me! In fact it will go down as one of my best birthdays ever!
Not because I got a fan flip'n tastic gift. Not because I got the absolutely most gorgeous card with the absolutely most beautiful sentiment in it. Not because I was taken to dinner at my very most favourite restaurant. Not because we just happenened to witness a most spectacular sunset. Nope. It was the best birthday ever because I was able to celebrate with my most favourite person in the world. Yes, my dear. You made my day. Just by getting home from work early and taking the time to hang out with me. That makes for a great day before the birthday celebration ever!
