Yesterday's post about changes certainly came in handy for me. My quickie of an eavestrough job became a little painful - especially when I had to make them remove the entire back section...seamless eavestrough means there are no joins right? After 5 1/2 hrs. I get a bill that was over $200 more than the quote. Hmmmm. Not a happy camper was I, but after a little convincing (on my part) we did negotiate a compromise on the bill. My trip to the city on a search for yellow fall flowers did not happen, but I did enjoy the sun and got some reading in while watching over the dudes with the hammers and caulking guns. Hopefully the yummy cake I fed them made up for the hovering supervisor they had to endure.
TODAY: I'm off to Access Nova Scotia for a new driver's license. Once I get through the lineup with new mugshot in hand, it's going to be just me and my computer baby. I have a project in the works and I'm determined to get it finished today. Oh! and Wally's on his way home tomorrow for a couple of days so that makes today a great day in itself!
