Rest Stop

We have endured another Nova Scotia storm yesterday, and I have just finished cleaning up the driveway. Not that I did all that much really, since our amazing neighbours let Wally use their snow blower last evening. All I had to do was clean up around the cars and what came down through the night.

Oh! How I dream of summertime in our backyard. I can't wait to say good riddence to the cold, snow and rain! It seems like almost every trip I have to the Valley, it is either snowing, or blowing snow, or freezing rain. The weather gods this year are not on my side. Yesterday's trip was bright and early to make it home before all the fun started. But, the best laid plans don't always happen as expected. The late morning snow arrived at 9am in Kingston, so I had a quick stop with the boss, and then turned around to head back home. I didn't get to see my clients. I didn't even get to see the baby or my Mom! Feels like such a wasted trip when I don't get to see the important people.

I am so glad we did manage to get a walk around the lake between snow storms. The photo above is of Sienna this past Sunday. Can't say I like the prison-style fence in the background, but it was pretty cute that she sat up there looking in every direction except at me and my camera. That's my girl!

Today: Now that I've shovelled the snow it's work time. Me and my computer will be hanging out for the next several days.

Have a good one everyone!
