Boys, Men and a Wedding

Good morning Monday. Phew! It's been hectic. It's been a little crazy. I've been a little out of kilter but hanging on tightly.

Wally arrived home Friday and actually was delayed in the harbour because there wasn't a jetty for them. Now that's a new one on me, but he did manage to arrive home safe and sound after a successful couple of weeks at sea and a short visit of Boston.

I was madly working on the production of the paper that I do. It was a busy one and I became bogged down with the craziness of it all.

We did take a break to head out to a turkey dinner at the farm. I casually mentioned to Wally that I was swamped and the look on his face quickly made up my mind that we would get to dinner no matter how busy I was. Good decision! It was awesome! Nothing better in my mind than a homemade turkey dinner with all the fixings. Oh! and the company was pretty good too.

This little guy was not feeling well and running a temperature but sure managed to entertain us anyway with his grins, smiles and giggles.

The all out giggle came when I was holding him and his Papa was making him laugh. Too cute!

Then we had a little look-see at the new critters in the barn. What is it about goats that just make your heart melt?


See what I mean. We did a little feeding and then Wally had a little bonding session.

And then we headed off to see my nephew Tylor's new house.



He's been working hard getting things the way he wants them and it shows!


He took each of us for a spin around the property on the 4 wheeler which is always good for a little chuckle.

Now the wedding part...

My sister-in-law is in Jamaica at a beautiful resort getting married today with 18 of her friends and a surprise arrival of her soon to be mother-in-law. I'm sure it will be absolutely beautiful and they are all in my thoughts.

Congrats to the bride and groom, and to the parents who I know are very excited as well.

Phew! If you made it to the end I thank you. I just rambled on a lot about nothing, but that's what makes up my life.
