the BEST LAID Plans

It’s a day of green. A day for all of us non-Irish folks to pretend we are and raise a glass…or two…or three. My day didn’t turn out quite how I was hoping, but that’s OK. I still popped into the Club and enjoyed a great local singer, Paul Lamb. I’ve seen him play alone and with his partner and former bands many times; and you know what, I think I like him even more now. Maybe we’ll be seeing a little or a lot more of him in the near future. One never knows.

Our weekend did not go as planned either. I so wanted to be in the City on Saturday evening, but our weather did not cooperate…I’m really sorry about that guys. Barbara, I have a little something waiting for you with Wally. I’m sorry I missed you today too. Sheesh! The Best laid plans huh?

As for the rest of today, I see me curled up with a good book. I still haven’t shaken what it is that’s hanging on, but I’m telling you right now, whatever it is…I’m happy to say good riddance!
