a BIT of the ICK

Where has the time gone? I’m afraid I’ve had a bit of the ick – OK more than a bit, but a little pneumonia and bronchitis just makes a person stronger right?! My health kind of put a major hold on the completion of our room, but I’m sure we’ll finish it up soon…really I am.

I must admit, working when you are really sick isn’t one bit fun. I love my job – really love my job. BUT, working for yourself has some down sides, and being sick and still having to work is one of them. I got through with only a few tears and a couple of drama queen moments.

So far this week I still haven’t gotten much accomplished other than sleep and stare at the tube but I am feeling much better. I am proud to say I did start my insulin again last evening. When I injected myself, I immediately thought, what was the big deal? Funny how that is!

That’s all I got. I’m on the mend and am planning on getting lots of energy back and ready to feel good.
