Amazing, Incredible, Spectacular, Wonderful, Breathtaking

For years we have talked about going whale watching off Brier Island. Yesterday we did. We took our "tour" with http://www.brierislandwhalewatch.com/. They are the oldest company in the area and they also do research, so I would highly recommend them if you see this video and decide you'd like to go.

Even as I write this I feel emotional. It was simply a breathtaking experience.




After a week of incredible heat and sunshine yesterday turned out to be very rainy in the morning and extremely foggy on the water. Just like magic, the fog lifted just enough as our time to depart approached and then became "pea soup" as we headed back. The whales even stayed with us for a while as we turned to head back to shore. As our guide called out to them "don't worry...same time...same place...tomorrow. What a gig. I sure could go out every day to visit with the whales.
