Happy Monday everyone! It's back to the grind after a totally relaxing weekend. We were fortunate enough to get that dreamed about sail in on Saturday. Wonderful! Fantastic! We met up with our friends Gary & Sue somewhere between Chester and Chester Basin. After a trip to a pub in Chester for some lunch (and a couple of brews) and a much needed break for Gary & Sue, we headed out for our day sail. We are so lucky. It rained off and on all week and it was incredibly foggy. But not on our day! It was perfect! Not too hot. Not too cold. No fog. Just a bit of haze and a few puffy clouds. Perfect wind...which meant Wally and I got to spend some time on the helm. So much fun. So relaxing.
The above layout is complements of a template from Simply Sarah which I came across through a challenge on JessicaSprague.com. It's nice to be able to just drop photos in without thought. My new love of sailing just seemed like a perfect opportunity to use this great template. The scrapbooking community is incredibly generous and supportive. Just say'n...I've used photos from the past 3 yrs and also a photo for the background.
Today, I must get my behind in gear for a week of work. Anyone who reads my blog probably realizes by now that I'm not myself lately. I'm working hard at feeling better and plan on pushing through this s**t in the very near future! Yes indeed I am. This week I plan on getting my office gunned out, work some more on my nieces wedding album and of course get the work done that I'm actually paid for. Basically, I'm planning on having a good, productive week!
