BITS of this & PIECES of that

Yes, that's me...Keep'n Cool in the Pool. Yes, even I can't believe that I'm actually posting a photo of me, in a bathing suit no less, lounging around in our little pool. And, YES, I'm sure I'll regret it as soon as I hit the "publish post" button. BUT, what struck me most about this photo is that even when I'm not aware anyone is spying on me (as Wally was), I am trying to cover up...my arms are crossed tightly over my stomach. Who was I kidding...there is no hiding this body of mine. So, there you have it...me, in all my glory...but man, I love the fact that my incredible husband took the time and found the patience to get this little pool of ours up and running for another year. Yeah for that!!!

I especially needed it after my noon hour visit with my GP Doc. All I'm gonna say is that I will not be having a return visit. This is an actual statement, word for word, he made to me...

"the system is not set up for people to come in with a list of symptoms". Hmmm, I mistakenly thought that's what you do when you see a Doctor. But, hey! What do I know?

By the way, I only had been in his office for 10 min. and there was noone in the waiting room when I left. Not to mention I didn't book the appt., it was HIS office who called me in after I had some tests done from my Internist. This man just has the knack of making me feel totally humiliated every time I see him. So, I will now be without a GP, but I figure it can't be any worse than the treatment I've been receiving...he was the same Dr. I visited back in February that told me there wasn't anything wrong with me and then I ended up in Emerg. the next day with pneumonia/bronchitis.

Good by to you Mr. Dr. that looks your nose down on this "fat girl". So long to you Mr. Dr. who needs to take a look at your profession and figure out why you are doing it...I'll be much better off without you sir. Yes, indeed, I will.

Tomorrow, we are off to Halifax bright and early. Who knows what the day will bring once my early appt. is finished. Nice to just go with the flow and see what the day brings.
