I still don't have my computer back from the local technician so I can't even begin with the guys on the other side of the world. I'm still hopeful this computer problem will be solved soon....very soon! If not, we'll have to figure out a way to hook up my comfy (huge) ergonomically designed cordless keyboard and mouse or I'll never be able to write again...hold a glass again...or peel vegetables again. Now that I think of it, things could be worse couldn't they??
I've written in the past about one of my many character flaws being that sometimes I lack patience with others and mostly myself. Well, if I were a student right now, I definitely would be entitled to a gold star these days! I have been patient with the nice people on the end of the phone. I have been patient with the local technicians who don't do what they say they are going to do. I have been patient with myself for not getting all of things done that I would have liked to these days. Yes...I deserve a gold star...
YESTERDAY'S dinner was pretty darn good, if I do say so myself. The way our oven works these days it's hit or miss, so cooking dinner is usually quite a surprise! Prime Rib still pink on the inside, horseradish cream sauce, whipped potatoes, julien carrots and a couple of bottles of wine...that's the start of a perfectly lovely evening shared with my man.
TODAY is my MOM'S DAY. I'll be heading back to the Valley one more time this week and taking her to a restaurant of her choice. She's had a tough go lately, so I'm hoping a little luncheon will do the trick and get her relaxed for what I'm sure will be a few very stressful weeks.

TOMORROW is a full day of fun. We're off to the City so Wally can be a boy and beat people up on the football field. Afterwards a quick check-in at a hotel deep in the southend of Halifax. Back to the Fleet Club to enjoy a few sociables and laughs with some friends. Then we'll head back to the southend and the Cunard Centre for the Q104 Quarter Century Party to see lots of great Canadian bands and party until the wee hours of the next morn. A little restraint will have to be engaged on this day just in order to survive!
Patience...Good Wishes....Good Music....Life doesn't get better than that now does it?
