WOW! Lots has been going on in the past week. Lots of running around. Lots of work. Lots of this. Lots of that. Lots of just plain old everyday life.

I became quite friendly with this cute little laptop, but I'm very happy to report that it will be leaving my premises tomorrow as my computer is working just tickety boo these past few days.

As you can see, I now have access to my photo software and am so happy to have found some time today to take a peek at what has been hanging out on my camera.I found a little proof of the couple of bottles of wine we shared last week...

I came across a good reminder of the storm we had that most likely was the cause of all of my recent computer woes.

The view at sunset from my kitchen window can be quite spectacular...even if it is snow covered.

I managed to get all of the Christmas parcels shipped minus the gift wrapping on the inside of one of them!

Most years, on my Mom's birthday I take her to lunch and this year was no exception, but with the addition of the company of Chrissy.

Of course a birthday lunch wouldn't be the same without cake and this year a sparkler was added in place of a candle. I was actually caught off guard at how quick they were and wasn't ready with the camera, but this is one of those times that blurry photos are just as cherished.

A little posing in front of the Christmas decorations was definitely the order of the day.

They can pretend all they want that they hate my camera, but I know different!

Wally played a little football...

I checked us into the hotel and discovered our room was specifically designed for me. If you manage to get to the bottom of today's blog you'll see exactly what I mean.

After the game there was a "boat race". For those of you who aren't familiar with this event, it's actually a beer drinking contest between the officers and non-commissioned members of the military.

The goal is to not spill a drop of beer while drinking it as fast as you can.

Once it's all gone the empty glass goes on top of your head, and the next person drinks up.

We played a little pool.

...and then headed off to the Cunard Centre for the Q104 Quarter Century Concert.

We enjoyed ourselves at the beginning before it got too crowed and hot. I had to leave early because I was feeling claustophobic. The pushing of the crowd made me a little panicky if I'm totally honest. What we did see was really good. I now know to limit my concerts/shows to places where you have assigned seating. Age really sucks doesn't it?!

We returned to the hotel for a restful night in a king bed directly beside the largest treadmill I have ever seen. Yes...when I opened the door to the room, there was a HUGE treadmill on one side and an exercise ball and weights on the other side.

My first thought was "is this a joke?" I have gained a lot of weight lately...then I thought "no, Wally wouldn't do that"...especially if he wants to sleep with me in that very large and comfy bed.

I've also been to the valley a couple of more times for some more packing and visiting in amongst a little Christmas decorating

...and that my friends is a little randomography.
