I resigned to the fact at about 3:30 am this morning that I am unable to complete the tax preparation docs myself. The paperwork is now sorted and tied up with an elastic band awaiting an expert that can, I am sure, whip up the final documents in no time. The only solace I have is that the Rev. Canada rep tells me what I was trying to do with the software I have would not work. It has to be done the “old fashioned” way and mailed in. Guess that’s a little consolation for me, who tends to become obsessive over such tasks. A bit of weight is now lifted from my shoulders.
I did nothing today. No computer work. No design work. No paid work. No house work. Nadda. Nothing…except of course take a trip to the grocery store and bring home comfort food THAT I consumed way to much of; WHICH quickly got my creative juices flowing. Yeah! for that! I’ve now drawn up my plans for my very first digi kit, did a rough sketch of Emma’s 1st birthday gift and sketched out a tribute to my Dad for Sunday’s burial at sea. Now all I have to do is translate the rough sketches into something meaningful.
Our outing yesterday to the spa for a couples pedicure was AWESOME! A pit stop on the way home for a bit of Chinese wasn’t too bad either. Oh! and Wally, the company was pretty good too! It was just what I needed yesterday to get the crankiness out of my system. AND I can say…it worked! Happy feet, makes for a happy girl...who would have thunk it?
Have a great Wednesday folks!
