Journaling reads as follows:
MWO Bradley D. Henderson , my Dad, was buried at sea on a beautiful sunny day just outside Halifax Harbour facing the War Memorial at Point Pleasant Park as part of 65th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic Ceremonies. Mom, Scott, Kelly, Wally and I each threw in a rose as a final farewell to Dad . I also added to the water a private note just between him & I. Shortly before the flight pass of a helicopter and Aurora a whale was spotted nearby. I am saddened at his loss, but this day is a reminder of how happy and proud he would have been to have such a fitting memorial. Love you always Dad...
On a different note, it's my Godson & nephew Todd's birthday today. Have a great one kiddo!
