HELLO Happiness! Nice to SEE YOU!

Life happens. Yes it does. Sometimes everyday life can seem difficult and painful, and can be downright frustrating. I find if I don’t catch myself I can fall into a dark place that can be hard to climb out of. That’s me. I’m a thinker. I’m a feeler. I’m so passionate about a multitude of things that it can be scary even to me sometimes – not to mention friends, family and acquaintances. I love the craziness that goes on in my head sometimes, BUT a little quiet can go a long way too.

Today I found my “quiet”. I started a new online class from Paulette Insall last week called Organic Dimension, and I’ve decided to share my progress with you. This is big for me. I don’t feel I am an artist, but creating is something I HAVE to do. When I’m not creating something, I feel a little dead inside. Sounds dramatic, I know, but hey! If you lived in this mind of mine you’d know what I’m talking about. Almost everything I see, smell, touch or taste somehow feeds my creativity. Most things I do, I critique really harshly and keep hidden away. Since I began this blog I’ve shared my scrapbooking, my photography and now my painting. Basically my life is open to anyone who cares to read or look. Big! Really BIG for someone who works from home and generally never puts herself out there!

I look at the 2nd one and would change SOOOOO many things about it! I can't wait to see what next week will bring. Paulette has assured us that it will look better as we go along. So much fun!

I totally recommend her class to anyone who is interested in collage, layered backgrounds or learning the basics. She’s a really wonderful teacher, and I’m so glad she decided to share her talents!

Now, I’m off to do some gardening that must get done…I'll share my trials & tribulations (OK, whines) about gardening in my little town of Windsor at another time.
