Humpity Hump...

It's Wednesday already and I haven't checked off as many items on my "to do" list as I'd hoped. That's the way I roll. Sometimes, I'm a productive whirlwind. Sometimes, not so much.

The trip to the Valley on Monday to help my Mom and visit my new/old Doc. had to be aborted half way. I did OK until the blinding snow squalls started. I did OK for a little while longer until I got behind a truck who happened to be behind a snow plow that was pushing snow off the road and up into the sky. As I looked into my rear view mirror I saw a brief glance at a tractor trailer who was bearing down on me. I could tell it was braking hard because I saw the trailer swirve. All in a split second I thought of how fast I was going and if I put myself in the ditch could I survive. I figured that was better than being pancaked between two trucks. Since I'm writing this I guess you can assume all was well and the trailer behind me managed to slow down in time. Let's just say that I made my way up a ramp that hadn't been plowed and into New Minas where I made a phone call and then came back home.

I felt really bad that I couldn't help Mom out, but I know there is lots of other people supporting her.

Yesterday, as I was coming back from taking Lily for her "new due" I noticed how beautiful the trees on my street looked. I picked up my trusty Canon Rebel and headed out for a wintery walk in the neighbourhood. PURE B.E.A.U.T.Y.

I also finished up the Christmas cards...

...picked up Lily from the groomer and forced the dogs to endure my camera.

I used one of the photos I shot of them to make a Christmas card for the people in our lives who help us take care of the dogs.

I finally paid the bills, did the laundry, talked on the phone and made a little mess in my craft room.

TODAY: It's Sienna's turn to get beautified so a trip there and back is necessary. Today I WILL decorate for the Holidays...that's all I'm putting on the list today because that's all I really want/need to get done.

TODAY. enJOY L.I.F.E.
