Every morning Sienna sits by the door after she comes in from her morning jaunt, waiting, hopefully, that I will call her for a treat, or at least until I inform her there isn't going to be a treat that day. If a few days go by and she isn't given a treat she will "yip". I can't call it a bark. I can't call it a whine. It's a piercing yet quiet yip. She uses this type of communication if she is caught on a blade of grass and can't get out. She uses this type of commication anytime she basically feels the need for me. As I looked at her waiting for me this morning I decided to take a photo of her with her treats and this is what I came up with. She really is such a sweet girl (or lady since she's 13 now!).

Last evening we made pizza and I decided to get a little creative with it. I loved it! Wally most likely thought it was OK. I can tell that because he only ate half of his, which really is a good thing though. I usually keep on hand frozen dough from the grocery store or sometimes a local pizza shop (divide into two small pizzas), and I added a mix of pizza sauce and BBQ sauce, grilled chicken, green pepper, red onion and Bosc pears, with a bit of grated mozza and cheddar (light) on top. I'm thinking this would be even better baked right on the BBQ to give it a little more smokey flavour since as I was eating it I was thinking how much crispy bacon would add to the flavour. Leave it to me to want to add something totally decidant and fattening!
TODAY: I am awaiting the arrival of my sister with some home grown pork including chops, bacon and ham. Can't wait for that! I am also working away at my "real" job and thinking lots about the website I am designing. It's in the works, and hopefully, I'll be able to get something together very soon.
